Charges faster than the original charger!
Great charger, exactly what I was looking for. I needed a second charger so I thought I would give it a try ... it charges faster than the original Amazon charger! I ran the battery down to a half charge than timed how fast it would fully charge the Kindle. I tested it several times and the Gomadic charged quicker every time. Works as advertised and they offer a lifetime warranty!

There is nothing rapid about this charger.The adapter which comes with the device is at least as fast,if no faster
