One of Robert Bests' best dolls this year
the photos do not show all the great details on this doll her bobbed hair has a sophistication many dolls in the same line have lacked. the jewelry is marvelous and not a repeat of the same jewelry they give us in the past,as it is fabulous white glass that both pays tribute to 60;s fashions and yet is very modern . this dress does not photograph well, you need to see it in real life so you can see the contrast between the lace and the fabric. the lace is bigger and bolder than the lace on the original Plantation Belle outfit, thus updating Barbie for the current era.

Southern Belle Barbie
Southern Belle Barbie is beautiful and very well detailed! I love her short layered bob and her delicate white necklace and earrings. My only issue was that the lace pattern used on the full skirt is not in scale and looks cheap. The pale skin tone used on the doll was a nice change also.
