This is a HUGE improvement over a hand leash! Even if the dog moves to either side of me this thing slides around my waist and doesn't tangle. This one is simple and light, which is great for running. It is so much more relaxing to control your dog and having both hands free. What surprised me the most is how stable I am with it, he has to pull very hard for it to come even close to affecting me.

I keep these in his back pack. He almost always 'goes' when we are on a run and it's almost always in a place where someone's not going to like it. Pick it up and throw it in the next trash can you see. I used to put a sack in my shorts pocket for this but would frequently forget, now that he's got a dispenser full in his backpack, it's all good!

Currently using a zen muvo with a clip. Until recently I've ran with my main mp3 strapped to my arm. Cable tangling when running is always an issue when doing this. If I wrapped it too short my movements would sometimes pull my buds out, if too long the cable would sometimes catch under my elbow. Now I clip the player to my waistband and run the cable up through my shirt. This works way better.

Also a water dish! We've gone through many and this is the best so far. Most soft discs I've used don't fly well. But most hard discs aren't very durable. He's destroyed some in one day. We've used this one for 2 months and it's still as good as new. Very soft for him to like to catch and flies extremely well! It will fit in the dog backpack, though I generally don't have it in when running.
