MICHAEL JACKSON THE INTERVIEWS VOL. 1
If you love Michael Jackson, YOU NEED TO BUY THIS DVD!
what you will find:
-news anchor Robert Abernethy interviews Michael, who was then 12, and Jackie, who was 20 at the time.
-Michael being interviewed by Oprah at Neverland and Michael calling into her show when Quincey Jones was a
guest
-interviews by Barbara Walters, Sylvia Chase, Diane Sawyer, and an Australian reporter
-an interview with Access Hollywood when Michael was working on music in Ireland
-footage taken from an interview with his parents at their Encino home
-interview with a Japanese reporter where MJ had a case of the giggles (one of my favorites, he was so adorable)
-and yes, footage of MJ with his llama (the one w/MJ wearing a red sweater in his early 20's.)
This came as part of the Michael Jackson Mega Box set and between the two interview dvds, this one is definitely
my favorite. I loved seeing MJ through various stages of his life. From a cute little boy to the beautiful man we all admire and love, all on this dvd. There will never be another Michael!
What the heck are you trying to sell me?
I don't know about the rest of the MJ fans in the world, but I am really frustrated with Amazon listing all of these MJ DVDs and products that don't tell us what we are buying, yet they expect us to plunk down our hard-earned cash just because it has "Michael Jackson" in the title? What interviews will be on these DVDs? I feel pretty confident in saying that MJ fans will NOT want to be buying any product that supports Martin Bashir and his "documentary" which was nothing but salicious lies about MJ and his life at Neverland. Or, how about the "MJ Megabox" with a picture of him painted with a clown face. There is no product description for that either, yet Amazon expects us to blindly buy it because we love MJ? I would like to have more of MJ on film, but not if it means putting money into the pockets of the people that killed him. And with all of these "MJ products" coming out "every day" how can we know if it is something MJ approved of before he passed or that his estate approves of and profits from; or if it is just another person or company jumping on the disgusting bandwagon of bloodsucking leeches that want to make a quick buck off the death of MJ?
Wish There Was A Product Description
I have made the mistake in the past of blindly pre-ordering a couple of Michael Jackson videos without there being any customer reviews and was very disappointed by the merchandise in question.
They were both horrible with generic music playing in the background, and they were both almost copycat videos of each other. What a big waste of money.
It seems like people are coming out of the woodwork to capitalize on his death, and his devoted fans are looking to buy anything just to hold onto him a little while longer because we are all still in mourning over him.
I won't make that mistake again. I want to remember him and his words, not the things other people said about him, and though I am very curious to know what these interview videos are all about, I will also wait until people post some reviews before I waste more money on garbage.
By the way, the videos that ended up being a total waste of money were Michael Jackson "Never Surrender" and "A Remarkable Life." Don't throw your money away. They were both very cheap and poorly done.
