love the soap, hate the bottle dispenses
I've been using the Chanel Nº 5 Bath Gel for years, I love its moisturizing quality and delicate scent, as I believe any Nº 5 lover would also do. But, for years I have been appalled by the fact that the product OOZES out from under the cap and runs down the outside of the bottle, after the soap is dispensed. I tried to tighten the cap as much as I could, or leave it not so tight, and the result is always the same -- sticky yellow soap oozing from under the cap and running down the outside of the bottle. The worse is, it doesn't happen instantly, or I would wash out the bottle when I'm using the soap before it dries out -- the problem occurs slowly and gradually and it's noticeable about an hour or so after the product was used. It's really disgusting to look at the bottle with all that yellow stuff tricking down. I like the product so much that I thought I should transfer the soap to a different bottle, but what a hassle! I have recently written to Chanel complaining about this problem, and knowing the company high standards I believe we'll see some improvement soon. I would give five stars to the soap and ZERO-star to the bottle, therefore my four-star rating. The soap, although expensive, is worth it -- it's subtle, long-lasting and eliminates the need for a fragrance for day time use.
