Just the Right Size!
This skillet is just the right size for the type of things that I cook. Such as pork chops or spaghetti or burritoes. Or even bacon and eggs over easy. I haven't burned anything yet. Which is great.

Excellent skillet
I had used this same skillet for many years and it is a terrific skillet. My first West Bend electric skillet I had for about 15 years before having to purchase a new one "just because" I felt 15 years was long enough. My new West Bend electric skillet has been with me about 10 years.

I use it at least once a week if not more often. The only times I clean the skillet are 1) after cooking meat or 2) after cooking something really messy (like chili). If I cook an egg or pancakes, all that is needed is to wipe it out with a paper towel. This keeps the skillet base in good condition - and a little oiled on the bottom.

The top does not fit securely; however, that is fine - it lets a little steam out. I like the top the way it is plus you can hook the top on the side of the skillet so when cooking something that splatters such as bacon, the grease does not go everywhere.

Great skillet!! It will last a long time if taken care of correctly!!
