I finally got this Slow cooker and it's fabulous. Got it on Smartbargains as a refurb for under 50 bucks and aside from the fact that it's huge (and a bit too big for me) I love it. Though wouldn't you know it, Cuisinart came out with a smaller model this year!

Buy new: Too low to display After doing some research on this, I've decided to get one next year. I'm tired of paying 4 bucks and up for a package of fresh herbs from the supermarket when I only need a few stems. The rest always goes to waste. AND after writing to the manufacturer I found out they'll be coming out with a stainless aerogarden in 2007 so I'm waiting to get that one.

The surface is truly non-stick, it's easy to clean, heats evenly, even sears well which my last skillet didnt. Its very large so it transitions easily from making everyday family meals to holiday creations for a crowd. It also has 2 handles that make it easy to carry to the table. I love it!

I got this (as well as an extra cobalt bowl) to match my blender. It's super powerful and gorgeous. I got it more because the product line was being discontinued then out of need, but I'm sure once the kitchen's up and running, it'll be well-used.
