The ultimate alternative September birthstone
I am a September lady. The traditional saphire birthstone is a little out of my price range for jewerly wardrobe. Iolite is the alternative - and these are beautiful. The color is so rich and deep they may adtually pass for saphires. The cut and setting are as unique as the stones themselves. WONDERFUL. If I were to have any reservation: the drop is short, so most of the drop lays on my lobe instead of truly dangling. They still have enough movement to them to make it not much of an issue. WONDERFUL, happy birthday to me
