Customer Reviews
Stick with the sheets!
More than half of the micro mesh pads had illegible grit size inked on. They also seemed to do a poor job of final sanding compared to the sheets.
Try Another Brand!
I purchased these pads to replace a set that I had purchased from another online retailer. I use the pads primarily for refinishing plastic and hard rubber products using a wet sanding technique. I had my original set for approximately 4 months and had done hundreds of jobs with them. They were still in good shape except that the sanding surfaces had grown a little tired and I was working a little harder to get the same results so I purchased 2 of these sets to replace them. I have been using one of the sets for less than a month and the sanding surfaces have already started to come loose from the pad. I have glued them several times so that I can keep on using them but the problem persists. Additionally, the interior padding used on this set does not have as much structural strength as my original set. They now bend like an old sponge. Considering the minimal cost savings over my original set and the fact that these pads will not last much longer, I would not buy these pads again. I will keep the second set for dry sanding jobs and will purchase another set from my original source.

I am a pen maker and these padded meshes make a beautiful finish on all kinds of pen making materials.
