Amazing how useful this is
Used it to remove a bunch of moulding w/o destroying the moulding like I would have using a regular prybar. Used it to remove finish nails that were buried too deep to get a hammer claw to pull them. Used it to pull out nails that were missing heads. Hey, wait a minute! This is exactly what the product description says it does. Yep, works as advertised. Amazing :-)
Wish I had known they made 10" and 11" inch models (the ... page for this item doesn't crosslink those other models). There were a few times when I wish I had more leverage and the 10" model is only 2 bucks more.
The Shark is great, but Red Devil is Better
I take molding and casing apart everyday. While I use the Shark all the time, I reach for Red Devil's Scrape'n Pry Bar #4050 more. Combine the Shark with the Red Devil tool and a 3" flexible scraper (to open up a small gap)and you will be unstoppable!
This tool will add to the quality of your life
Believe it ! I can't say enough how useful this tool is. It is the thinnest prybar available . It excells at getting behind delicate moldings without damaging them. You can stand on it with all your weight and it won't give a millimeter. When prying ,put just a little force on it though and it really produces some serious leverage. For removing finish nails it is simply unbeatable. Even if the head is gone this bad boy will rip it right out with its super sharp jaws. It also works very well for scraping paint, caulking, concrete, grout, wood, glue, ice or whatever is on it that you wish wasn't. You can use it to lift drywall into place, the list goes on and on. The bottom line is this. You need this tool. Everyone who sees mine wants one , so you might want to order two or three or thirty.
