Grade 5-8AWhen Dylan accompanies his father to a meeting of the Bigfoot International society, he's sure that it's just another of Dad's odd hobbies. Soon after, his father joins the society's sinister leader in an expedition to hunt down a Sasquatch specimen, and Dylan decides to go along. He hooks up with an old hermit who seems to be familiar with the area and the legend. When it appears that someone is following the old man, Dylan begins to suspect that his companion may be hiding a mysterious past. In addition, evidence that the Sasquatch may be more than a legend begins to accumulate and Dylan realizes he must prevent the society from killing them. With an exciting climax set amid a Mount Saint-Helens eruption, this fast-moving, suspenseful story provides lots of action and appeal.AElaine E. Knight, Lincoln Elementary Schools, IL

emilys book report
This book is about a boy and his dad who go on a hunt for a Sasquatch. But while they are up there they discover a lot more then what they went up there for. The boy looks at the Sasquatch in a new when they leave the mountain. In my opinion this was okay because it was very adventurous and it keeps you on your toes, and it keeps you in suspense through out the entire book. I think that the book would be a good book for kids. I recommend this book to people who like adventure, to people who like books where you don't know whats coming next, but comes together in the end. I also recommend this book to kids because it is a little bit easier reading.

Sasquatch
In my story my main character Dylan goes on an expedition with his father. This is no regular expedition though. Dylan and his father are going to find Sasquatch. Dylan's father and his team think that Sasquatch is on Mt. St. Helens. Dylan's father tells Dylan that he can not go on the expedition. Dylan says that he will go to a friend's house but really does not. After his father leaves Dylan sneaks out and meets up with a man named Buck. Dylan and Buck go to an old cabin that Buck owns on Mt. St. Helens. In the story Dylan encounters a Sasquatch. Dylan sees the Sasquatch right out side of Buck's cabin. Dylan also dicovers that Buck has some very dark secrets from his past. He finds that the F.B.I is trying to pin a crime on him. This book is filled with adventure, mystery, and it will always have you wanting more and have you on the edge of your seet.
