Customer Reviews
This Garfield fan isn't disappointed one bit...
Yes, I'm a Garfield fan, and I have never once been disappointed by a Garfield book. Not once, ever.
I like the new "full-color format" which (strangely enough) fits better on my shelves than the old "Garfield format" versions. I may have to get the full-color Fat Cat 3-pack with the first 3 books, just to see what I was missing.
I absolutely love the Garfield outtakes. Jim Davis, if you're listening, put more of these in the next books, or do an entire book on these wonderful, great outtakes!
I also wish he'd also put out some US Acres merchandise once in awhile. Orson the Pig is just so funny in the series. He sounds WAY too much like a piggy Jon Arbuckle (i apologize for any terrible mental images).
My name is BJ Wanlund. I have creative powers, but I can't draw to save my soul.
Very good read for fans of the fat cat!!!
This is a good Garfield read, and the cartooning is great. But, the only problemm is, the jokes ain't that funny, and I do have to agree with... emergency chick 67(???) that the jokes are running a bit dry. The only "laughs" I got were a few chuckles, and the series is running a bit low on funniness. All in all, I'll give this book four stars, but I'm a bit anxious about the strips in the next book, Older and Wider...
Really Funny
Okay, I think this is a funny book, but a let-down compared to some of Jim Davis's earlier books. In spite of this, it is still funny, and still gets 5 stars.
I like the comics dealing with Mrs. Feeny, and the ones dealing with Jon's Mom. I would like to see what Mrs. Feeny actually looks like, however.
Still funny, still entertaining, and cat's do not live to their 20's but it is a COMIC STRIP. A very good one compared to some of the unfunny crap in newspapers these days.
