a must-have for any witch !
If you're not acquainted with these Datebooks, you really should be. I honestly wonder how I ever got along without one of these before (perhaps by intuition?) They are small, but sure pack a magickal whallop.
Incorporate this book into your magickal practice to add extra power to your spells by knowing when the moon is in each sign, when it is void-of-course (which is not a good time to do spells) and advice for that day from the assortment of authors that contributed to the Datebook.

There are wonderful stories within that can add a bit of humor and inspiration to your day, along with recipes and spells for any occasion, especially for the full moons and sabbats.

This is a must-have for every witch, and you really do get your money's worth for the price as well.

Best datebook, even for non-witches
This is the best daily calendar I have found. You can see a week at a time with plenty of space to write down appointments and such. Even if you do not follow the Wiccan tradition, this calendar has vital information such as holidays, moon phases, astrological information, and informative tidbits about the earth and nature. Plus the artwork is first class. This is my third on and I love it.

A Wonderful & Very Useful Traveling Companion
With each new year, I enjoy getting a copy of the newest Witches' Datebook from Llewellyn Publications. And, as is often the case, the 2008 datebook is brimming with lots of very useful information. Like its wall-calendar cousin ("Llewellyn's Witches' Calendar 2008"), the datebook lists all eight of the Wiccan/Pagan holidays (Imbolc, Ostara, Beltane, Litha, Lammas, Mabon, Samhain and Yule) as well as all significant Christian holidays, Jewish holidays, Muslim holidays and the civil holidays for several countries: the United States, Canada and Mexico. It also lists all significant moon phases (new, waxing quarter, full, waning quarter and void-of-course) as well as significant planetary movements between the twelve constellations of the zodiac, including whether the movement is retrograde. It also lists the particular color associated with each day. An appendix at the end of the datebook contains a list of daily magical influences, color correspondences, lunar phases, moon signs, eclipses for 2008, all 2008 full moons, planetary retrogrades and a moon void-of-course table.

Overall, I rate "Llewellyn's Witches' Datebook 2008" with 5 out of 5 stars and highly recommend it.
