Great way to keep you on the "gratitude" track!5
I bought this gratitude journal after reading "Jack Canfield's Key to Living the Law of Attraction." This beautiful gold-embossed journal starts with a short introduction on the power of gratitude and offers some tips on how to use the journal.

Each month then starts with a gratitude quote, such as August's:
---"Happiness cannot be traveled to, owned, worn, or consumed. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace and gratitude."---Denis Waitley

Throughout the month, there are additional quotes to keep you focused on gratitude, such as this one:
---"Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it."---William Arthur Ward

The journal starts with January 1 and ends with December 31, but does not give a specific year, so you can start it any time. What I did is start on the date I got it (in mid-February) and add "2008." I'll then continue it into January of next year and will just add "2009" for those entries.

It's true that you could just buy a 3-ring binder and write down 5 things, people or events that you are most grateful for each day...but it's not the same as having a beautiful journal with space for your 5 items. And the fact that it's pre-dated makes you more inclined to write something every day...which is, after all, the point of keeping the gratitude journal!

I passed up The Secret Gratitude Journal for this one. The size is much more convenient to write in and it has the dates already in it which I love. Really wish someone had given this to me for christmas or that I had found it by the new year because the dates start January 1rst & last the whole year. I started on the 26th of January so that's not so bad. I'm hoping that as the year moves foward they'll continue making these with more dates added for the late buyers- you know like alot of planner companies do these days. But I personally do like that the dates are already printed because it motivates you to enter a short paragraph each day and makes it very clear when you forget a day. Another thing I like is how pretty the hard cover is. This book looks nice on my night table as the gold trim reflects the light making it look quite special. Which it is considering the good feelings it helps create. 5 stars.

A Lovely Journal and Reminder5
Remind yourself daily of what you are grateful and thankful for. An entry each day in this lovely journal certainly puts you in the right frame of mind for your journey to a joyous and fulfilling life.
