An excellent tool for time management5
For me, at least.

I need a paper planner for a number of reasons, but the most important to me is that I'm a tactile kind of person and like to hold the book not look at a screen, and that the act of writing helps me remember appointments and tasks where typing does not.

The seven days of the week on one side and a lined page on the other is the best format for me. I have relatively few appointments [...], but many tasks per week that go on the lined page.

I've had Moleskine products with the soft cover, and they are OK for light use, but I carry and use a planner almost constantly. The hard cover stands up to this use nicely.

I like the address book that slips into the pocket in back. I'll bring last year's forward to this book rather than recopy it or trust some electronic gadget, that I might not have when I need it.

The pocket size (3.5 in by 5.5 in)just doesn't have enough space, and if I cram it, the writing is too hard on the eyes. This one, the large book is about 8 in by 5 in, and much more comfortable to write in and read, while not being excessively bulky.

The spare blank pages, the year overview calendar, and the pocket inside the back cover are above and beyond what I expect in a planner, but I have grown accustomed to them and use them regularly.

Excellent tool, and I recommend it to anyone who prefers (or might prefer) a physical rather than virtual planner.

Needs more space for weekend days4
I have been using the Moleskine large 18 month weekly notebook this year, and I really like it. I like having an entire page for notes every week. However, the spaces for Saturday and Sunday are way too small. This is a big problem for me because I have very busy weekends. There is a lot of wasted space at the top of the weekly page, if they could move that top line up so that Saturday and Sunday can have more space, then this planner would be perfect.

18 month planner = good transition from school calendar to real world5
I love this moleskine. It was perfect for me as I was transitioning from using school year calendars in college to needing a calendar that would end at the end of the calendar year. This planner was for 1.5 years and was just what I needed to transition from college back to a "normal" calendar-year planner after buying September-September calendars for years. I like that every-other page (so the one side of each page) is a note-page. Great buy -- as always with moleskines.
