Editorial Review
At first glance, Bullz-I-Ball seems like a miniature version of a popular arcade game, where players have to throw miniature basketballs into rings of three different levels to score points. But with another look at this handheld ball game, players will see the twist—the balls have to first bounce off a built-in mini-trampoline before going into any of the three levels of targets. Bullz-I-Balls builds on eye-hand coordination as three different electronic games challenge players to increase their scores. The game 30-Second Blitz gives players 30 seconds to score as many points as they can, 25-Point Rush's object is to gain 25 points in as little time as possible, and Bulls-Eye Ace challenges players to make as many bulls-eyes as they can until they have 10 misses and game's up. Cool music and sound effects accompany game-playing and an electronic announcer gives play-by-play updates and encouragement. --Cristina Vaamonde

Family Fun
My son received this for his 8th birthday and it hasn't been left alone one day since. The whole family can compete against each other as it keeps track of high scores. His sisters (ages 12, 9 and 5) also love to play along with mom and dad. The game has 3 sound levels and a mute which make it great to play alone. This game is great for all ages!!
Bouncy-Bouncy-Bouncy
Always in the hunt for fun games to distract me from the sad realization that my life is a barren and empty existence, I decided to give Bulls-Eye Ball™ a whirl. I was intrigued by the game's concept: mini-Skee-Ball™ using a trampoline to bounce the balls off of, rather than rolling `em down an alley. Sadly, there are no tickets to win. `Course, considering how horrible I was at Skee-Ball™, I never really knew what it was like to win tickets, anyway...
Fortunately, I discovered my lack of Skee-Ball™ skills didn't carry over to this little offering. I've hit a high of 99 on the 30-Second Blitz setting (where you have 30 seconds to score as many points as you can), which is pretty good when you take into consideration the highest score you can get per ball is 3 points (via the `bullseye'). `Course, I did put in some practice thanks to the `Bullseye Ace' setting, where I'm allowed ten misses (AKA hitting any non-center hole) to get as many center-shots as I can. And if I feel up to a little speed-scoring, there's the `25-Point Rush', where I try to score 25 points (duh) in the least amount of time (this is where the `Rush' part comes in). With further practice on these two games, I'm confident that one day I'll break into three figures on the 30-Second Blitz! Oh, I almost forgot: there IS a `Practice' setting, but I don't use it all that much-- the actual games are enough practice as it is!
But in spite of all the fun I've had with Bulls-Eye Ball™, I have discovered a few downsides. For starters, the little metal balls are easily lost. I started off with ten spheres when I started, but now have seven. And those things hurt when ya step on `em, lemme tells ya. Unfortunately the balls are not magnetic, so sphere-hunting with one of your strongest fridge magnets is right out. Fortunately, you can order replacement balls through the mail-- go to www.hasbro.com/forms/bullseyeball.cfm, print the page, fill it out, and fax or mail it off to the address or fax number provided.
I'm also not that big on the sound settings, of which there are three: loud, less-loud-but-still-pretty-loud (forget about sneakin' in a few late-night rounds whilst the `rents are asleep on this setting), and mute. Unfortunately, if you're one who wants to know how many points you've racked up over the course of the game, or the high score, muting Bulls-Eye Ball™ is out of the question, as all scores and high scores are only kept track of through the `announcer'. Unfortunately, his voice fits the stereotype of the smarmy game-show host all too well, and tends to get on my nerves at times. Especially when I'm playin' a few rounds to help me relax after a tough day at the sweat factory...
Oh, one last thing: I've made the unfortunate discovery that the game unit will rarely keep from tipping over if it's not on a flat, even, level surface. I learned this little factoid the hard way, and it cost me a ball (no snide remarks, please)...

A Must Have For The Whole Family
We purchased this game for our son for his 10th birthday. What a score! It's kinda like Skee-Ball, except you have to bounce the little medal balls off the trampoline. During the first attempts, our balls were bouncing all over the place, but then we adjusted our technique, and we soon all got the hang of it. Even our 2 1/2 year old can do it. Unfortunately, my husband enjoys it as much as the kids. I found him in my son's room playing it all by himself when he was supposed to be helping me get the kids ready to go trick-or-treating! Good news: If you want to order more balls, you can get a set of 10 more for only $2 (and that includes shipping) by returning the enclosed order form. Recently, my son had a sleep-over, which included 3 other boys. They were all excited to play this game more than anything else, and they played it the WHOLE NIGHT LONG! All 3 boys left my house asking their mothers for a Bulls Eye of their own. Even after all of this, we still have not had to replace the batteries. I wondered how durable the trampoline would be, but it has held up good as new with a lot of rough housing. Since the game is pretty small, its not hard to store, and that makes me happy. This is a definate winner.
