In the realm of torture porn there is King Eli, and then there is everybody else. Roth manages to make effective horror films by avoiding the quick cuts and redunculous plot-holes that seem to plague the "Saw" series. Good job sir. 7/10

This series defies all logic. They don't make a ton of money nor do they really change the formula at all. They make just enough money to beat their budget, and that ensures that we will see a 4th. Still, no film series has made death more enjoyable. 5/10

An unpleasant surprise. I had never seen the original so I didn't expect much. This one is very well made and the performances are worth praising. Unfortunately, the sequel spoiled all that good will. 6.8/10

Great heist movie that really throws out all the conventions. The crooks are never in danger of being caught, and the real struggle in the film is amongst the guys on the outside. 7.5/10

Sort of a guilty pleasure for me. It's not hilarious and I still can't stand John Heder, but Spade and Lovitz have enough moments to make it tolerable. 5.8/10

Probably the only film series that could be broken up and no one would care. None of the films had anything to do with the others except for Tom and Ving. First movie was a slow espionage film, the second was a Kung Fu movie, and this one was a balls to the wall actioner. 7/10

I usually don't step outside the Pixar/Shrek box to see an animated movie. I'm glad I did because this one was a hoot. 7/10

One of the most deflating theater experiences of all-time. They freaking killed off Cyclops and Xavier before the midway mark. No Gambit, no Nightcrawler, and Angel was only in the freaking movie for a few minutes. Brett Ratner must be stopped. 4/10

Great effects, awesome action, some quirky humor, and another home run performance from Johnny Depp. One of the best sequels ever made. 8.5/10

Yet again I found myself seeing a non-Pixar/Shrek animated film in 2006 that I wound up liking. Very dark in a "Nightmare Before Christmas" kind of way. 7.3/10

One of the best horror films of all-time. That ain't no joke. The performances are so real and terrifying. The atmosphere that Marshall managed to create was amazing. It's ironic that this movie was shot in a fake cave and yet is far more affective than the movie "The Cave" which was shot in a actual cave. 9/10

When you try to make a bad movie, you'll probably make a bad movie. 1/10

Falls in the second tier of Scorsese films (along with "After Hours", "Casino", & "Gangs of New York"). Decaprio is amazing, Damon is game, and Walberg's performance continues to grow on me. However, Jack's role just does not ring true enough. He is trying to hard to perform. 8/10

Not on the "Saving Private Ryan" level, but what possibly could be. Still, the battle scenes are incredible and Ryan Phillipe continues to prove my initial opinion of him wrong. 7.4/10

Powerful and moving. Brad Pitt, Cate Blanchett, Rinko Kikuchi, Adriana Barraza, and Gael Garcia Bernal give amazing performances. 8.7/10

While not nearly as brilliant as it has been built up to be, it is still hilarious. 6.7/10

Throws away all the old Bond conventions and ranks among the best of the Bond films. 8.5/10

Boring beyond belief. Rocky is prompted out of retirement by a boxing video game simulation. WTF? Frankly I just didn't give a dam about Rocky's latest comeback. I was glad he lost. 2/10

This one will stand the test of time. It will probably be consistent "Top 500 All-Time" selection. 10/10
