I guess there are some people who will say global warming is fiction after viewing this documentary. Gore turns a potentially boring subject into an engrossing college lecture. Will it be enough to stop billions of people from destroying earth? I think not.

This film was robbed of the best animated film Oscar. Some disturbing, non-child oriented other animated film with a penguin seemed to win the votes. "Cars" was easily the best animated film of 2006.

Look, I grew up on Christopher Reeve like many of my generation, but I think Singer did a great job of reintroducing Superman to a new generation. It was an emotional experience knowing that Christopher was not alive to see this new chapter.

I know. His worst reviewed movie yet. I don't care. I like Shyamalan. I will always go see his films. Giamatti was excellent by the way. Sure, Shyamalan should have had less screen time, but the overall effect of the film was not diminished. Bravo for not making films everyone likes.

I grew up watching the original television series. I like Mann. I thought the film was definitely entertaining throughout. Mann's direction was excellent. The only drawback was Colin's wavering American accent.

Pure adrenaline rush from start to finish. Jason Statham is well suited for these roles. He's not some lughead, he actually acts and can pull of comedy, action and drama. Many memorable scenes in this one. Mindless fun.

DiCaprio, Nicholson, Sheen, Wahlberg, Damon and Scorsese. Need I say more?

For the record this film and "The Illusionist" have nothing in common except that magic plays an integral part in both stories. I like Nolan's films and this did not disappoint. Bale and Jackman go tete a tete and both turn in fine performances.

An amusing storyline with great performances by Ferrell, Gyllenhaal and Thompson. Perfect character driven love story/fantasy/comedy.

Daniel Craig is the perfect addition to the franchise, and this is the grittiest Bond in a long time. I hope they continue the series in this new vein. Best Bond film since 1995's "Goldeneye".

All Gibson prejudices aside, he did make an interesting (if inaccurate) film. Mesmerizing, meditative and certainly violent (a theme in Gibson-directed films such as "Braveheart" and "The Passion Of The Christ").

O'Toole's best in years. My wife stated that O'Toole did not appear to be acting, but that he seemed to be on his last leg for real. Either way, this character driven story is engaging and realistic. If this is O'Toole's last film, he went out in fine form.

Another gritty western with more metaphor than in recent westerns. Brosnan and Neeson turn in some of their best work here. The film is relentess from start to finish and you can decide what to make of it in the end.

Solid Korean filmmaking here with the first horror/creature feature film in a long while that I enjoyed watching. What sets this film apart is intelligent directing and storytelling as well as solid performances from the cast. I also appreciated the anti-American message and wished that there were more films today that criticized American policies and attitudes.

Easy to see why this was nominated for Best Foreign Film. An absolute travesty the way France has treated Algeria for helping them during World War II. Moving performances by a mostly unknown cast.
