The last film is pretty disappointing because of how radically it departs from L.M. Montgomery's story...it's worth a look, but it really pales in comparison to the earlier films.

 | Jane Eyre (Masterpiece Theatre, 2006)
Buy new: $17.99 / Used from: $15.63 Captures the fun and teasing nature of Jane/Rochester...and adds a healthy dose of sexy. This is one of my favorite books and I've seen several film versions, but this is the first one that finally got it right.

Buy new: $9.99 / Used from: $6.99 Not really faithful to the book - thank goodness! I had a hard time getting through the novel because Fanny Price was such a priss. The film took a fairly somber story and added a light-hearted element.

Buy new: $25.99 / Used from: $25.89 Couldn't get into the Emma Thompson version...but I really enjoyed this version. Two engaging love stories.
