Customer Reviews
I'm wearing this dvd out!
First off, I have followed Jay since 2000 and have always felt he was an amazing bodybuilder. This dvd keeps me motivated while doing my dreaded cardio and I even have my 4 year-old niece loving it! It follows Jay through is contest prep- diet, workouts, etc. The workouts are incredible and Jay is HUGE. But unless you are a huge fan of anything bodybuilding, this isn't for you. Some parts are of him just doing cardio and eating egg whites, but I love every minute of it. If you have ever prepared for a bodybuilding show you will appreciate those parts. Also the dvd is a 2-disc set and it's really long, which I appreciate. Check it out for yourself!
Incredible Much-Meat ... no remained space for smiles :(
You can see Jay training hardly - you can learn some from his exercises. The video quality is 5 out of 5 stars. Nice training documentary, emphasizing the different group muscle exercises (e.g. chest, biceps, legs, etc.). Jay is showing his giga-muscles (not sure that you really want to have to maintain his muscles!) but is too serious here ... is missing from here the funny-friendly spirit that you can find at Arnold Schwarzenegger / Pumping Iron DVD. The Jay's 2 DVDs are worth the money. Jay: add more "smiles" in your next videos!
Jay Fans Only
This is a great DVD if you're a Jay Cutler fan. I enjoyed it but it did seem to drag quite a bit with a lot unnecessary footage of his cardio, I didn't need to watch him do five minutes on a treadmill! It is interesting seeing him go through his daily routine, including meals, workouts, and personal insights of the sport of bodybuilding and his career. If you want a DVD that is more in depth about training look else where, if you're a Jay Cutler fan then you should appreciate it and it's a must have.
