CAPTURE THE BEAUTY OF YOUR MOMENTS THROUGH
MINDFULNESS MEDITATION WITH JON KABAT-ZINN

CULTIVATE MINDFULNESS, ENRICH YOUR LIFE

The world's foremost producer of personal development and motivation audio programs offers an inside look at how you can raise your awareness level for maximum personal and professional achievement.

From the bestselling author of Wherever You Go, There You Are comes a guide to experiencing life fully as it unfolds -- moment by moment. One popular misconception about meditation is that it is a way to make your mind blank so you can escape what you are feeling. Internationally-known meditation teacher Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn wants you to understand that meditation is an invitation to wake up, experience the fullness of your life and transform your relationship with your problems, your fears and any pain and stress in your life.

Listen as Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn tells you how to:

  • Access your own deep inner resources for learning, growing and healing
  • Enrich your everyday experience by being fully in the moment
  • Reduce stress by responding creatively rather than reacting mindlessly
  • Bring greater clarity and understanding to everything you do

Listen to Mindfulness Meditation and discover what it's like to live life in all its fullness.

    About the Author
Jon Kabat-Zinn, Ph.D. is founder and director of the Stress Reduction Clinic at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center. His clinic was featured in the PBS series "Healing and the Mind" with Bill Moyers. He and his colleagues in the Stress Reduction Clinic have used Mindfulness Meditation and its applications to help thousands of patients cope with problems ranging from cancer and AIDS to high blood pressure, panic attacks and chronic pain. He is the author of two bestselling books, Full Catastrophe Living and Wherever You Go, There You Are.

    From AudioFile
Kabat-Zinn encourages us to wake up and live each moment fully. He examines the barriers to being fully present in the moment and explains how to use our breath to cultivate mindfulness. He also guides the listener through a number of mindfulness meditations. The program is more than an author reading a book--it's a pep talk delivered by a skilled coach. His voice is sometimes soft and comforting, sometimes animated and lively, but always the voice rings with passion and heart. Transitions from one section to the next are marked by New Age music. A great start on the mindfulness path5
If you are not familiar with "mindfulness meditation", this is the perfect starting point. The basics are covered in this set of 2 tapes, narrated by the author. I found it very helpful in dealing with anxiety I was having, as well as helping me rethink my automatic responses to life. I highly recommend this tape or anything else by Kabat-Zinn for anyone interested in exploring a mindful path.

    INFORMATIVE5
I always enjoy listening to Dr. Kabat-Zinn. This CD presents a a very good reason to try mindful meditation. Kabat-Zinn has a very pleasing voice with easy concepts to relate to. If you are looking for actual meditations this is not the CD for you, but he definitely gives you a good place to start the practice of meditation with the breath. Highly recommend.

    Very helpful recording... 5
I've purchased a few meditation recordings over the years. This one is by far the most helpful. I've used it for myself and in groups. It is excellent.
