Not well made
This item was very disappointing. The tablet fell off immediately upon opening. We promptly returned it as it was then unusalbe.

Great concept, poor execution
I saw this in Real Simple and loved this idea for my husband's office-- the kids could draw around their framed picture and update as often as they wanted. However, the pages are quite flimsy; I expected thicker stock. And the "pad" of pages is attached to the frame the same way a tear-off notebook is constructed. So when I flipped over the frame to insert the photo in the back, the entire pad of paper tore off the base and now none of the pages are attached. Drat. Disappointing product...

Not exactly what I thought I was getting...
My 6 yr old daughter had received this as a gift and loves it! She has lots of fun drawing new designs. Once she takes the old sheet off she find a picture to place in it and puts them on her wall so she gets to continue to enjoy her artwork! However, I was disappointed because my daughters has a silver/metal frame, very appropriate for girls. We ordered this as a gift for a girl and it came with a black frame, very ungirly looking! We ended up not even using it because it just didnt look girly at all so be careful of the color you are ordering. The description did not state the color and there was no choice of colors when ordering so we assumed it would be like silver/chrome one we already had. And, yes the paper is thin but works fine for coloring/drawing on with markers, pencils or crayons but we have not had any problems with the whole pad coming off as someone else experienced.
