Horrible customer service
I placed an order for this kit on November 6th, along with some other items. My card was charged on November 7th. The e-mailed receipt I received only listed how much I spent, not what I ordered. There was no shipping or contact information in the e-mail. Two weeks later the package had not arrived and I had not heard a word from LifeSecure. I sent them two online inquiries and heard nothing back. I finally called them today to find out what was going on. The guy on the line told me that my items ended up being back ordered, and he just found out about it a week ago. My items are in the mail, having been shipped on November 21st. The scheduled arrival date is December 1st. So it will be almost a month later when I finally get my package, and I have moved in the meantime. I'll have to go back to my old building to pick it up. I asked the customer service person if they could at least refund my shipping costs, and he said they "might" be able to refund a few dollars, but not the whole cost. I will not order from this company again.

My company is encouraging emergency preparedness, and our managers would like all of us to have a personal emergency kit at work. It seemed easier to order from LifeSecure rather than run around to different stores. Our emergency kits are being inspected on November 26th, and mine will still be in the mail.
