Design is in the details.

Almost Too Easy
The Sabre is a breeze to use. Connect the supplied power adapter to the back of the Sabre and the appropriate power outlet. Place the docking insert--corresponding with your iPod--in the Sabre, and dock your iPod. Switch the Sabre on, and a power indicator in the on/off button will light up. The Sabre is now ready for use: Just select the desired music on your iPod, and press play.

Connecting an auxiliary device to the Sabre will override the sound from a connected iPod. The Sabre also features a stereo line-out connection for your home stereo. Finally, it boasts an S-video output for watching clips from your video-enabled iPod on your television. All cables are included, so you're ready to go out of the box.

daughter loves it.5
This is worth the money. My daughter loves it. I did not realize it was going to put out the level of sound that it does. It works as well as my stereo. We had to institute the volume rule so I could here the TV.

Only downside is it does not charge the IPOD while docked. If you use a IPhone in it you must put it on airplane mode or the wifi causes feedback through the speakers.

Great product. I would buy it again.

Perfect (for me...)!5
I have been looking for a small speaker system for my iPod for what seems like forever. Not wanting to spend hundreds of dollars on a large system with spectacular sound, I was just looking for something that I could have on my desk at work that wouldn't take up too much room, was relatively inexpensive, would charge my iPod while it was docked, and had a good volume range.

This product fit my needs exactly. It is small and light, and despite an earlier review, it DOES charge my iPod while it is docked. I liked that it came with a variety of "docking stations" to fit any size iPod. The color is much more of a lavender/lilac than pink, but that's fine by me. Pretty straightforward features -- power switch, volume, treble, bass. You can control the volume both by using the speakers and your iPod. The sound is fine for small listening areas where you might not want to bother others, but I turned it up pretty loud and could hear it in my kitchen while I was cooking.

I'd recommend this to anyone who was looking for something similar to what I was looking for -- not too expensive, small, charges while docked, decent sound.

disappointed2
I was looking for a cool docking station with great sound. This is cool but the sound was not behind it from the start. I have a friend who has a much cheaper dock and she can listen to her music from the other side of her house. With this one I pretty much have to be in the same room. Then one day the sound was varying by itself going from louder to softer. I finally figured out that one of the speakers doesn't work. I have already disposed of the box, so now I'm stuck with it and I'm very disappointed because I get more power out of the portable speaker I bought for $5 after Christmas.
