It WONT charge your Ipod Nano !!!
This wont charge your Ipod Nano like the ad says and the box it comes in says it will .....I just got an Ipod for Christmas 08 and bought this because it says it will charge your Ipod BUT DOESNT! In Feb 09 ....so if your Ipod is new it wont charge it ....and dont try to send them an email about the problem because they dont get back to you like ya think they should. It would be perfect it only charge the ipod.

DON'T DO IT!!!
Picked this up on impulse from ROSS (for $34.99, no less) after researching the iHome line of alarm clocks. Looked nice, had similar features, etc. Played with the radio a bit, good sounds, good remote.

BUT...

I placed my new iPhone in the dock and smelled and saw smoke after about 4 seconds!!!! Luckily, I snatched it out of the base and we were fine (I would have had a heart attack if my all-in-one baby died).

DO NOT RISK IT.

Reasonable for the Price
The item is average. I would say that it sounds good and functions are pretty easy to navigate. For the price I feel that it is a solid unit. I would recommend if you are looking for a reasonably priced unit that will perform.
