Our son is now six weeks old. He was born two weeks early and has had sleep issues since we brought him home. He also has reflux. This bear is the "MIRACLE BEAR" and is my new favorite baby gift. We found that we have to turn the volume way up for our son. He enjoys the lullaby music and ocean sound. I couldn't get him to take naps during the day without nursing him to sleep. Now, I can feed him and put him down for a nap in his moses basket with no troubles. It's a life-saver! I can finally get other things done around our home.

Excellent product
This bear was everything we hoped it would be. The bear itself is soft and cuddly. The sound generating device inside the bear feels solid and of high quality. The device can be removed from the bear and used on its own. It's about the size of a VHS tape (remember those?). Volume is controlled by a knob and it gets very loud, even inside the bear. That's what we needed for our 3-month-old baby. Other devices we tried didn't get nearly loud enough. At max volume this is like a 747 on takeoff. The sounds are great. You can find samples at the Sound Oasis home page. The sound can be played continuously or it can be played on a timer. We haven't had the product for very long so I can't comment on durability except that it feels solid.
