About the Author
Robert Jones is the president of Simple Beaute. Born and raised in Houston, TX, he is a well-known hair and makeup artist with almost twenty years of experience. His clients include Neiman Marcus, Mary Kay Cosmetics, Watters and Watters, The Johnson, Levi's, MCI, Marie Claire, Elle Magazine, Delta Burke, Diahann Carroll, Sheryl Crow, Carol Channing, Louise Mandrell, The Dixie Chicks, and others. He travels to five cities per month giving makeup demonstrations to approximately 5,000 women. He is developing a signature line of makeup.

Good Book
Very good book. It explains everything clearly... and has A LOT of explanations, so it's easy. I love how it talks about different types of products, their pros and cons, and how to use them. It also talks about WHAT to do with these products, what kind of eyes you have,how to shape eyebrows, face shape, the tools to use, etc, etc! This book is amazing and will help SO MUCH!!! I love it!

Truth and Lies with makeovers
This book has a number of great tips for people looking for a makeover. It also has lots of great pictures most of which have been airbrushed to make the models look even better. The tips are sound and good advice but the photos are deceptive. Lots of makeup no makeup looks.
