so disappointing.....2
This book is WAY too expensive for what it is, especially for a paperback! There is some good general information in it, but I was expecting something much different. Many of the suggestions are little more than common sense and good teaching. The one good thing it does do is match up the interventions with specific problem behaviors. I was hoping for some innovative ways to help support or change behavior and am disappointed. Save your money. You can buy several books with great ideas in them for the same amount or less!

Integrated Approach4
This book is awesome if you are a campus behavior consultant, behavior unit teacher, Special Education teacher or administrator.
Name your student misbehavior (there are 110 choices including all 83 of the BDIS-2 disorders) and you'll find as many as 40 practical interventions for changing that behavior, PLUS you'll find matching goals and objectives that address that specific behavior to use in writing the student's IEP/BIP. Also includes sample behavior modification support documents - behavior contracts, point sheets, reinforcers and more.
This book is a great companion to the Behavior Disorders Identification Scale (BDIS-2).

A Must for Special Educators5
I used this book to write affective goals and objectives for a class I'm taking to become a Special Education teacher. This book covered many problem behaviors and gave clear, practical, well worded goals and objectives, a real challenge for most teachers. The book was originally loaned to me. I have to have it for my own classroom!
