About the Author
The Most Venerable Thich Nhat Hanh founded the Unified Buddhist Church in France in 1969, during the Vietnam War. Thich Nhat Hanh is a Vietnamese Buddhist monk, a poet, a scholar, and a peace activist. His life long efforts to generate peace and reconciliation moved Martin Luther King, Jr. to nominate him for the Nobel Peace Prize in 1967. He founded the Van Hanh Buddhist University in Saigon and the School for Youths of Social Services in Vietnam. When not traveling the world to teach "The Art of Mindful Living", he teaches, writes, and gardens in Plum Village, France, a Buddhist monastery for monks and nuns and a mindfulness practice center for lay people.

Good but not the best in series4
Ultimate Dimension is a recording of a retreat on a more advanced topic. It is interesting but I think Present Moment retreat is better. It is more basic and a better quality recording.

The Present Moment: A Retreat on the Practice of Mindfulness

A Wonderful Teacher of Spiritual Truth5
I recommend anything from Thich Nhat Hanh. I have read (and listened to) many of Thich's books and they are all great. One would be hard pressed to find a better, more succinct teacher of the wonderful truths of spirituality. He seems to distill and capture the pure essence of Buddhism and convey it in a very accessible way. Thich Nhat Hanh Talks in this book about an ultimate reality; a reality that exists beyond the conditioned mind in the here and now. He says that this reality is accessible to everyone who practices mindfulness meditation. This book is sure to please anyone interested in spiritual matters.

Peaceful Teacher5
Wonderful. I've been listening to Thich Nhat Hanh most nights before sleep for about 2 weeks now. I can say that I have been so relaxed and have had no trouble remembering my dreams... this tells me that my mind is becoming more free and clear. I would recommend this "retreat at home" to anyone, even those not interested in Buddhism will reap benefits.
