another good one by Groom
This is the second of Winston Groom's books that I have had the pleasure to read. This one is a heartwarming look at a truly unique canine. You worry with him, you cry for him, and you rejoice in his many escapades.
The ending is a hoot!!!!!
I recommend it to all, not just dog lovers. Also, take a different look
at this author, and his version of WWII and read "1942" Exceptional!

Such a touching book.
This book is a very good read. It may be short, but good things come in small packages. It makes you laugh out loud, cry and groan at the problems Only faces through his life. It is a touching book that is sure to please anyone who likes animals.

I loved this book and bought copies for my friends. Only, the dog is the Forest Gump of dogs. My sons, 10 and 12 read it too and enjoyed it.
