Another M-edge great product!!
I have been looking for a water resistant cover /jacket since I purchased my Kindle in January. Although this is not water proof it does the job for me. It is water resistant and that is what I need. I don't plan on deep sea diving with my Kindle. I have an olympic size pool in my back yard and needless to say on hot summer days it is packed with teenagers, kids, dogs and relatives and friends!! Often more than 20 people on any given day are in our pool!! So keeping my Kindle dry has been a concern for me. Maybe I should have listen to my husband when he said we should get a smaller pool. Oh well to late now.
I have purchased several items from M-edge for my Kindle and I have not been disappointed with any of them so buying this was a no brainer for me. It has a clear vinyl cover with an opening for the scroll wheel. The rest of the case has a suede like feel to it which is nicely padded for protection in case you drop it. It has a 3 sided zipper which holds the Kindle nice and snug within the case. You don't have to worry about accessing the "next page" button or the "back button" or any of the the other features as they are easily accessible through the front vinyl cover. The only buttons which require you to open the case to access are the on and off buttons on the back of the Kindle, the volume controls on the bottom and the charger connection. I don't plan on charging my Kindle while in the pool anyway. :)) Before I purchased this cover I was using a zip lock type baggie and it was not doing the job for me. Now I can kick back in the spa or on one of the benches or beds in my pool and not worry about a splash or a kid knocking into me and my Kindle getting wet. With the new M-edge Leisure jacket my worries are little. Thank you M-edge for another great product.

great for outdorr reading
I bought this to read by the lake. It is great. I feel much more secure around water, sand etc. outdoors with this case on my Kindle. I also got the red executive case by the same company and it is super. It has restraints all our corners. Kindle doesn't fall out!! Mine fell out once with the origianl case now I don't worry.

Poor, non-functional design
I have definitely had problems using the M-edge Leisure Jacket with my Kindle. Not only is it extremely annoying that the cover depresses the left-hand side buttons (causing pages to jump uncontrollably), the top-down zipper is inconvenient. Rather than having the zipper end at the top so that a slight unzip is all that's needed to access the power and wireless switches, you have to fully open the front cover to access these switches. All-in-all a very poor design.
