Dyson DC15 is your nirvana vacuum if you have pets. It will suck out all the pet hair as if that was nothing special. It is also very maneuverable with the ball patent. Once you use it, it's going to be very hard to go back to the "pulling behind" vacuums. The brand is pricey but there is a reason for that. Otherwise the market with cheaper vacuums would have taken over.
