Customer Reviews
3 Year?? Not really
Looking to buy a warranty, but 1 year covered by manufacturing and 1 year by visa. Therefore, it's more like 1 year warranty. 3 year should be be top of what you have already...
A little to convenient...
Don't you think? All these "non-descript" 5 star reviews for this warranty service? Seller is making up their own reviews for this product. No real way to gauge how good it is since there only seems to be one (now two, I suppose) review written by someone not employed by the service, and they didn't say whether or not they purchased the warranty. I for one agree with the one real-person-written review that this warranty is really only a 1, maybe 2 year extension of your original warranty(ies), so it is up to you to decide whether the price is worth the extra time, and/or piece of mind. I don't buy into them because I take excellent care of my electronics, and have never needed to use a warranty on a TV in my life, nor had reason to lament "had I only bought the extended warranty!". I might suggest getting it if you purchased one of those new LED back-lit LCD TV's because this is brand new tech, and there's no way to know if the bulb(s) (the LED's in this case) will last more than a year or two. Ever see one of those LED traffic signals? It has about 100 LED's for each color, but only like 60-70 of them still work in the red and green fields (since the amber fields are on for a split second at a time, never for extended periods). This shows me that LED's are far from consistently reliable as of yet and I'm not dropping $3k on a new TV for it to last 13 months and take a dump on me. But then, I would do a hell of a lot more research on the warranty I did choose to go with in that instance than reading a handful of reviews written by employees of the warranty provider, and two other people who didn't actually buy the service.
Must have
Its a must have when you purchase expensive tv!! It helps me sleep at night!
