Heavy Duty
I bought this sharpener for my classroom. It's superior to any other electric sharpener I've owned or used in the classroom. The motor is very strong and smooth, more than capable of the 100 or so sharpening cycles it performs every schoolday.

As a fifth grade teacher, my students go through pencil sharpners as if it were a "career choice." This is my fourth electric pencil sharpner purchase this year ... And so far it is the only one that has lasted more than 60+ days! It is quick to sharpen, quiet in it's operation, and the only one that hasn't begun to "moan, groan or grind" when in use! Am planning to order 3 + more for the upcoming school year and stash them away until needed.
