I got mine from the HP website, I had it custom built so that it was a little better than the standard version. But this is a great laptop to have, it does everything. The size is nice too. I really like it, it is great for entertainment.

Cheap little wireless keyboard and mouse. But good ones. Necessary if your going to be using a TV as your moniter like I do.

Good little router. You really don't want something to powerful for a dorm room. You don't want other people using your internet, it can slow things down, and depending on what they do, get you into trouble.

I like this external hard drive, I use the 400 GB to store movies on and the smaller 250 GB one to put music on. That way they aren't taking up space on my laptop and slowing things down.

This thing is the most annoying creation I have ever seen. But.. It's an alarm clock. And the stupid little thing definately does a good job of getting me out of bed in the morning. I have it set to play the radio as the alarm. But it pounds it's fists on the table (very annoyingly) and lights up for two minutes before the alarm goes off so you gradually wake up.

Ok, on the topic of bedspread. You need two sets of sheets, in the same color. Trust me, you just do. You should also get a queen sized comforter. Twin is very small. I like having a comforter that hangs down to the floor on the side of the bed and hides the jumble of stuff underneath my bed (raised beds create a good space for keeping food or really anything else)

you are at college. people do stupid things at college. It is very amusing to get those stupid things on film.

Calenders are very nice for staying organized. Being organized is good.
