DO NOT BUY THIS ADAPTER
I bought this adapter to use for travel. This adapter will not charge the kindle properly. I used it and it would not charge my kinde past a 20 minute charge after it was plugged in for 24 hours. I then plugged in the original and it charged the unit to full power. It is not worth it. SPend the extra $10 and get the official version. This one is a waste of money.

cheap quality - you get what you pay for :(
Low amperage circuit, slow to charge, cheap cable. If the cost is cheap than you getting a cheap item.

Does Not Work!
Doesn't work. Will not fully charge a Kindle. Unfortunately, the "official" Kindle charger has been out of stock for months. Thanks Amazon, I now own a $400.00 paperweight!!!
