THIS IS A REAL REVIEW FOR THIS ITEM!
I bought this with my new Kindle. It LOOKS nice but design wise it's terrible. It makes the Kindle much heavier and bulkier. Also like the other reviewer said you can't really fold the cover back. If you read your kindle like an actual book and didn't get it because of it's ease in portability then perhaps this is suited for you. Otherwise opt for the Cole Haan soft cover. I exchanged for that one and am loving it.

High Quality, Poor Design
I purchased this luxury case for my newest arrival, Kindle 2. I wanted to swaddle my little one in the best of the best. Nice leather, absolutely. Trendy black patent, oh so chic, you betcha.
Unfortunately, I was disappointed in the bulkiness of this cover. I bought my Kindle 2 because of the sleekness, the ability to carry it in my purse when I know I may have a wait; to have it when traveling without the weight of a book or two. With this in mind why would I want this cover?? With my Kindle in the cover it's like carrying a book, so for me it defeats the purpose.
I am sending it back as I have just received the OCTOVO sleeve for the Amazon Kindle 2. Admittedly the OCTOVO lacks the plushness of the Cole Haan cover, but it's way more practical.

I gave it 3 stars because it's good quality.

Lemon and Impractical
I bought this with my Kindle 2 b/c it matches my Cole Haan purse. Unfortunately the weave was messed up in one place and one of the strips was actually twisted. This was completely unexpected for a Cole Haan item. Beyond the looks it does add a good 1/2 inch to an inch to the kindle width and the elastic bands were difficult to secure and can't say that I trusted that the Kindle wouldn't 'pop out' of one corner and slip out unexpectedly. If you want to store your kindle in this, but not read with the cover on, it might work.
