At last, I can take my Kindle everywhere with me and it'll be safe
After reading the other reviews, I ordered this jacket a few days ago and it arrived earlier than estimated. I love everything about it. It's beautiful and functional. A perfect pink. Leather feels good and smells just the right amount of leather - not overwhelming, but reassuring that it is quality leather.

Inserting the Kindle 2 couldn't be easier (instructions are provided and are idiot-proof!). The Kindle stays firmly in place and there are also handy little pockets - one for the e-luminator which I also have and love, and the others for bits of paperwork or a business card.

The jacket and Kindle together are still neat enough for me to insert into my handbag and it is still lightweight - probably lighter than the book equivalent.

I love that I can now take my Kindle with me wherever I go without worrying it might get scratched or damaged in my bag. It will stay looking as new and protected - and I'll be able to read on the go.

It's a bonus part of the price goes to Breast Cancer research.

Prodigy Genuine Leather Kindle Jacket
The hook on the jacket spine will not hook into the kindle, so it keeps falling out. Otherwise, it looks pretty and is sturdy. I like the fact that some of the proceeds went to Breast cancer if you buy the pink.

Looks good, but
This cover is difficult to latch. The upper hinge is not on the same level as the hole it should latch into on the Kindle. I can feel the stress when I try to maneuver my Kindle into it. For this reason, I will not use it. I am online looking for a better cover (one without a hinge attachment). I have read too many stories of Kindles cracking out at the upper hinge area to risk having my expensive ereader damaged.
