Editorial Reviews

Editorial Review
Baby Tad is a wonderful interactive toy that makes early learning fun and easy. Baby Tad (short for tadpole) helps your preschooler learn shapes, colors, activities, and songs. When your little one presses a colored light-up button, Tad identifies the color and shape indicated on the button. With his cheerful demeanor and infectious laugh, Tad offers support and encouragement and will quickly become a close and trusted friend. Besides various greetings, a squeeze of Tad's hand brings forth favorite children's songs, sung in a squeaky, high-pitched voice. --Alison Golder

Adorable - Great Crib Toy5
Baby Tad is just adorable. My 13 month old just loves him. We use him as a crib toy.

I really like the 6 minutes of nightime music - puts my son right to sleep.

This toy keeps my son occupied for quite a long time in the mornings when he wakes up.

It also has a voice control switch - IN THE BATTERY COMPARTMENT!

Baby Tad is worth buying.

I can't believe how much kids like this toy!5
I am a speech-language pathologist and provide early intervention services for families and children (birth to three). I first saw this toy in a family's home and was amazed when I observed the child's interaction with the toy. She smiled, vocalized and danced while holding it. Very much fun and I will recommend Tad to other families I work with.

Broke after only 2 months of use & no volume control4
My 18 month old daughter received Tad as a Christmas present and by February he was totally broken. She loved to squeeze his hand to hear the songs but the toy just wasn't durable enough to withstand constant activation by an eager toddler. Another shortcoming was the lack of a volume control. His singing doesn't seem that loud at first but my daughter sometimes wanted to take him to bed with her and his singing is way too loud for bedtime. It was also very easy for her to access the battery compartment -- there is a velcro strip down his back and she thought she could take off his outfit. The toy just isn't designed for active, curious and determined kids (and what toddler isn't active, curious and determined).
