Amazon.com Product Description
Rugged, energetic styling and superior performance combine to make the Indy 500 the ultimate high-end sport watch for all your adventures. The 45 mm case is crafted from high-performance stainless steel and presents on a handsome steel link bracelet with an extension system and a double locking foldover clasp. The racing-inspired round black dial sports bold concentric circles along with the Indy 500 and TAG Heuer logos. It offers three-hand function with luminous hands and hour markers and a date window at the four o'clock position. Three silver subdials display 1/10 second, small seconds, and 30-minute registers. Framing the dial is a unidirectional rotating bezel with a tachometer scale. Oversized flutes make it easy to grip and turn, and a PVD titanium treatment gives it optimal durability. The same titanium treatment and oversized flutes appear on the double sealed screw-in crown. Other notable features of this watch include precise Swiss quartz movement, a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, an

About TAG Heuer
TAG Heuer traces its roots to the small Swiss village of St-Imier where, in 1860, a watchmaker named Edouard Heuer opened his first shop. His vision was to create remarkable timepieces that pushed the envelope of innovation and precision. The company's reputation grew, and Heuer's first patent for a chronograph mechanism in 1882 was followed by a long list of achievements: the first stopwatch accurate to 1/100 of a second, the first dashboard stopwatch for race cars, the first miniature electronic timekeeping device accurate to 1/1000th of a second, and the first automatic movement with a microrotor, to name just a few.

Over the years, Heuer's reputation for gold-standard precision earned the company the privilege of providing official timing services for a number of world-class competitive sporting events, including the Olympic Games, the FIS Ski World Cup, and the FIA Formula 1 World Championships. To this day, TAG Heuer maintains a close association with the world of competitive sports and enjoys a devoted following among sports celebrities and enthusiasts. In 1985, Heuer joined the TAG (Techniques D'Avant-Garde) group, and the TAG Heuer name and logo were created. Now one of the most recognized and sought-after watch brands in the world, TAG Heuer continues its reputation of innovative design and technological excellence, creating prestigious timepieces that are always at the cutting edge of precision, reliability and style.

BEAUTIFUL WATCH!!5
I bought this for my husband for our 33rd anniversary. He loved it. Origionally I purchased the "Formula One". Although it was a nice watch, it just appeared a little too sporty. I sent it back and purchased the "Indy 500" instead. Although still sporty, it has an air of class. The stainless bezel and the white irridescent chronographs really stand out on the black background. The racing rings on the face also set it apart from the "Formula One". It is a couple of hundred dollars more, but you do get what you pay for. It is a very easy watch to set. Even I could do it. The info booklet was a breeze to follow. All in all, if you want an upper-end sports watch, with a little bit of class and pizzaz, you just can't beat this TAG. Oh, and EVERYBODY tells my husband what a great looking watch he has.
I would think that almost any man would love to wear this watch. By the way, it came with two warranty cards. One from TAG, and the other from the seller. Hope this was helpful to you!!

Amazing5
This watch is amazing, it glitters, shines, everything you could want from a watch worth $1,000 retail. It is true about this watch being a limited edition with only 2500 or so units made. I don't know the age range that this watch is marketed for, but I'm 20yrs old, and I can assure anyone looking at this watch whose shaky about shelling out the extra money, you won't regret it.

Keeps fantastic time...battery change expensive4
Love my Tag Indy 500...only loses a few seconds every 6 months. Mine needed a new battery after 20 months. When I took it to a store that sells and services them, they told me to change the battery, they have to change the gaskets too and it would cost $100. I called Tag Heuer and they told me only Tag's Service Center is authorized to change the battery and they refused to tell me how much until I shipped it to them. They weren't too concerned about my dilemma. By some stroke of luck, they told me that I could send it back under the 2 year warranty and they would change the battery at no charge. That worked this time...but now every 2 years, it will cost me $100 plus shipping and insurance to change the battery.
