Ranesa performs psychosocial assessments for patients prior to gastric bypass surgery and provides individual counseling for individuals after the procedure. Ranesa works with several surgeons in the Baltimore area and assists with various support groups in the community. Ranesa is a post gastric bypass patient of over four years and author of the the article,"Supports Really Do Make a Difference."

The Journey
This is a good book to have if you have gone thru this surgery. The only thing I did not like about the book, it was not long enough. I feel there is more to the Journey that what this book covered.

This is an essay, not the book it seems to be.
I was very disappointed to find this glossy covered "book" was more of an essay. It has about 90+ largely spaced pages of text. No chapters or special subjects. Just one long opinion. Not worth the $10 I paid for it.
