Great Timepiece, Worth It's Weight!
Very elegant watch for the money. Weil has never ceased to amaze me in the value for the money. The watch shows the date in the lower window, and the Day in the upper. Nearly silent movements; barely noticeable second hand "quiver" from the mechanisms transferring energy.
The watch is a head turner. From the moment I put it on, I was receiving comments left and right! Also, it is very comfortable to wear & has an excellent clasp. The watch is A little heavy; but to be expected- after all it is a 42mm dial and clad in full stainless.
My reasoning for giving it 4 stars is because the winding/ adjusting mechanism could be a little more comfortable. The edge of the wheel has a factory finished slightly sharp edge that can be a pain if you move your wrists back against it quite often and is slightly uncomfortable if you're winding it often. Also, the power reserve is a little low at probably about 24 hours if not worn.
Overall, this is a good purchase. Very much a one-of-a-kind!
