Excellent series--great music, amusing characters, entertaining, funny, and tragic. The English dub is best, but the Japanese is good too. This is the most recent anime legends collection which includes the complete 6 disc set.

A must see after viewing the series.

This includes all 7 volumes of the first season. It continues the concept of the movie and manga, but uses an alternate storyline. Both the English and Japanese VA's are good.

The saddest anime I have seen. It's inspired by real life events near the end of WWII in Japan. It's not one that can be watched several times, but definitely a must see.

Based on a novel, this series is moderately paced with deep story arcs set in an interesting fantasy world. It's best watched in the original Japanese with subtitles. (Contains discs 6 to 10)

If you liked Evangelion, you'll probably like this too. I liked the Japanese better than the English dub, but either one is good.

Little girls with guns seems a little odd and maybe exploitive, but it makes sense within the context of the story, which happens to be pretty good. Both the Japanese and English are good.

Second season of GSG. The animation quality isn't quite as good, but it's a welcomed continuation of the story.

A suspense/thriller where two main characters regularly try to outwit the other. It's the most addictive anime I've seen. Both the Japanese and English dubs are good.
