About the Author
Priscilla J. Herbison, author of God Knows We Get Angry, treats anger as a live energy-a natural gift for our self-protection and survival, for our dignity and empowerment to say what we stand for and what we stand against. Herbison received a Law Degree from the University of Minnesota and a Master's in Social Work from the University of Illinois. She currently serves as a professor at Saint Mary's University, where she is the program director of the Master of Arts Human Development program.

In 1998, she received the George Christianson Award for Excellence in Education from Saint Mary's. The award, which honors outstanding leadership and integrity in higher education, has only been give five times in the University's history. Previous awards include an excellence in leadership award given by the Minnesota State University System and an excellence in teaching award from Saint Cloud State University, in Saint Cloud, Minnesota.

Herbison lives in Minneapolis.
