Also disappointed
I consider myself a fan though I own only two CDs. I've long wanted one of their DVDs, and almost bought this a week ago. As luck would have it, I managed to borrow it from a friend - but was hugely disappointed. I found it very boring. I actually couldn't watch it. I expected more energy, more harmonies, more instrumental. I guess I have to revise my opinion - I'm a fan of their first two CDs. I still have nothing but favourable sentiment for these guys, but won't be rushing into buying any of their DVDs.
less than impressed by my heroes, but still, 5 stars
What's this, one of the three musketeers has no shoes on? Graham Nash wore no shoes or socks during the entire concert. Come on, lets get past the flower child era ok? I appreciate it because I lived it, but what's up with that? Anyway, that is my hang up, not yours.
Pretty good entertainment from 3 guys who Young would not team up for in this concert. A real shame vanity and egos get in the way of history making dvds.
Worth getting although I watched it only twice after getting it, even though I am a life long fan.
Met Stephen Stills in Whistler back in the 80's!!
My moment with Mr. Stills was when I gave him a ride in my taxi in the late 80's in Whistler when he came up to play at Buffalo Bill's. It was some thing to do with a benefit of some sort. Anyway, I had been a fan of his for many, many years and I was taken completely by surprise when he got in the back seat of my cab. He was a complete gentleman and genuine person. He was exactly as I thought he would be. I wish him and his bandmates nothing but the very best from here on in. Carry on!!
