![]() | Led Zeppelin 1 by Led Zeppelin
Buy new: $13.99 / Used from: $3.50 Ah, the birth of the world's biggest band. Very bluesy, which is great, but there's also some foundation on here that will develop into the distinct Zeppelin we know and love, with classics like "Dazed and Confused" and "Communication Breakdown." Of course, they already were the most unique and talented band of the time.

![]() | Led Zeppelin II by Led Zeppelin
Buy new: $13.99 / Used from: $3.28 One of my personal favorites, with more classics like "Whole Lotta Love," "The Lemon Song" (one of the greatest bass lines in history), "Ramble On," "What is and What Should Never Be," and "Bring it on Home," this is a must have. Plant also really comes into his own here.

![]() | Led Zeppelin III by Led Zeppelin
Buy new: $13.99 / Used from: $5.69 Half classic Zepp hard rock, half folk, this album offers the perfect mix of Led Zeppelin's wide-ranging musical talent and influences. "Immigrant Song," "Since I've Been Loving You," "Gallows Pole," "That's The Way," and "Bron-Y-Aur Stomp" all become live staples, while "Friends," and songs like "Out on the Tiles" show a new side of the band.

![]() | Led Zeppelin IV (aka ZOSO) by Led Zeppelin
Buy new: $13.99 / Used from: $3.00 A classic, and I won't dare to knock it here. Worth having if it only had one song: "Stairway to Heaven," which is probably the reason you're reading this. But let's not forget classics like "Black Dog," "Rock and Roll," and "When the Levee Breaks." An excellent album that should be in any collection.

![]() | Houses of the Holy by Led Zeppelin
Buy new: $13.99 / Used from: $3.08 Kind of a creative stretch for the Zepp, but if anyone can pull an album like this off its them, and boy do they pull it off. Amazing album with great songs like "Song Remains the Same," "Over the Hills and Far Away," "The Crunge," "D'yer Maker," and "The Ocean." This is the band at there absolute highest level of confidence and stage presence.
|
![]() | Physical Graffiti by Led Zeppelin
Buy new: $20.99 / Used from: $8.00 Another fan-favorite, not one of mine though. Still an excellent album by any standard, since this band is incapable of making a bad album or really even a bad song. This is a two-disc album with classics like "In My Time of Dying," "Houses of the Holy," and "Kashmir. It's my understanding that the first disc is all older, but refined and redone, but the second is all new material.

![]() | Presence by Led Zeppelin
Buy new: $10.99 / Used from: $2.66 I know some might disagree with me, but this is still a great allbum and a solid effort by the band. Plant had nearly died in a horrible accident, Page was on drugs, and still they make a great album. Features more classics epic with "Achilles Last Stand," and "Nobody's Fault But Mine," and not to mention a return to a more bluesy sound. Really an enjoyable listen.
|
![]() | In Through the Out Door by Led Zeppelin
Buy new: $14.99 / Used from: $3.99 This album is all about John Paul Jones and his keyboard/pianos. Not a bad album, but not a good one by Zepp standards. There's some decent songs with "In the Evening," "Southbound Saurez," and "All My Love." Not too fond of the so called hit "Fool in the Rain," but even that isn't bad. "Carouselambra" though can be a little annoying. Still, I recommend this album for Zepp fans or completionists.
|
![]() | Coda by Led Zeppelin
Buy new: $10.99 / Used from: $4.65 Not really an album, but more a collection of redone songs and some unreleased material. Its worth a listen just for "We're Gonna Groove," and "Wearing and Tearing," but really most of it is just semi-decent material pulled together after Bonham's death. Really only for completionists. Can anyone explain to me how "Bonzo's Montreux" can compare to "Moby Dick," from Zepp II?
|
![]() | BBC Sessions by Led Zeppelin
Buy new: $22.99 / Used from: $6.75 Great live material, features some interesting and multiple takes on songs like Dazed and Confused. Zeppelin live is something to hear, because they never play a song the same way twice. This is a two-disc set.
|
![]() | How the West Was Won by Led Zeppelin
Buy new: $23.99 / Used from: $7.67 More great live material from a number of concerts. Features some great 20min+ medleys.
|
![]() | The Song Remains The Same (Remastered / Expanded) (2CD) by Led Zeppelin
Buy new: $22.99 / Used from: $8.74 Taken from a concert at Madison Square Garden, this is Zeppelin during the Houses of the Holy days, which means they are at their most confident, which means... you guessed it, amazing performances.
|
![]() | Led Zeppelin
Buy new: $22.99 / Used from: $12.50 A must have. Features some of the songs from the Song Remains the Same concert in NY. But really, this DVD is all about showing you the power of a Led Zeppelin concert. These guys were 4 of the best musicians in the world, and their performances show their talent and their showmanship. Great sound and video quality

![]() | Led Zeppelin - The Song Remains the Same
Buy used from: $3.90 Footage from NY mixed in with fantasy sequences for each band member. Worth a watch.
|
![]() | Mothership 2CD/1DVD by Led Zeppelin
Buy new: $20.99 / Used from: $13.49 Really just a greatest hits collection. I guess I would recommend this for the person who doesn't want to buy the albums but wants to give Zepp a try.
