Review
Praise for the the previous edition:

'This book is a good choice for music students - and ear surgeons. For anyone studying acoustics for the first time the explanations are about as easy as they come and the coverage wide too.' Hi-Fi World

"A complete material with high precision. If somebody is looking for a text explaining trough details, numbers and examples different issues related to sound, he/she should not doubt to acquire this book." - Tecnoprofile Magazine

Customer Reviews

A good, gentle introduction to acoustics5
Seems to be an easier acoustics text than the classic Rossing and similar approaches. The focus is sufficiently practical to bring in generalist or the technician who wants to understand a bit more, but also sufficiently deep to satisfy anyone other than a physicist. But they'd just add another book on, and be happy as well.
