Purchased two. Used to probe the temperature (375-degreesF) in a home built oven I used to temper bamboo for fly rods. They exceed my expectations and are a very good value!

This is an outstanding item. It works great and is very accurate this type needs little or no calibration. I use it every day at least 40-50 times for institutional cooking.

I have had other Taylor products like this but this one is better than the rest. I seems accurate and I particularly like the push on/off button compared to the slide switch of the cheaper models.
