Average customer review:Product Description
The chef's knife is a kitchen staple, with a wide straight edged blade ideally suited to cutting and chopping fruits and vegetables, herbs, and so on. Some may find the 10" length too awkward and unwieldy, and for those people we recommend this slightly shorter knife. R. H. Forschner is a division of Swiss Army Brands, Inc, renowned for the Victorinox Swiss Army Knife. These knives are specially ground and tempered so that they can be resharpened over and over again, keeping a sharp edge throughout their lifetime. State of the art technology blended with old world craftsmanship produce cutting instruments of excellent quality, at reasonable prices. Forschner Victorinox Fibrox knives have earned high marks in a well-known cooking magazine which stringently tests kitchen products.

Customer Reviews
Awesome!
What a great knife! it preforms very well, have not needed to sharpen it yet, and was super sharp right out of the packaging!
this knife handles everything i throw at it! the blade is great, the grip though plastic has a great textured nonslip surface, and its a great size for most kitchen tasks!
for the price its a great value, its also the top rated knife on the test kitchen show and they use it all the time on the show, this knife and the paring knives, look closely next time and youll see!
you will like this knife!
this IS the knife
can't think of anything better than this knife. well, maybe a 10" to keep it company.
Great knife for the $$
I really didn't believe this knife would be this good, considering the cost. My other chef knives are $100 henkels, and they are great, but I am turning to this one all the time. I really like the weight, balance, and the feel of the handle. And it's damn sharp!
