An Excellent Guide To Utilizing Healing Energy
I've read a number of books on healing through touch and have had experience both as a client and a practitioner. Bradford's work is an excellent combination of theory, anecdote, and method. He writes with a clarity that makes his material easily understandable for the beginner and with a depth that the experienced healer will find enlightening. This is a book I would not be without. I refer to it often for new insights on both self-healing and for work with clients.

O.K. as a primer, but there are (much)better ones available.
"The Healing Energy of Your Hands", in my experience, is an attempt to be a complete "how to" of energetic healing. And it deserves credit for a valiant effort.

But there are much better books out there that try, and succeed. As a "basics", book, I wouldn't discard it. But then again, in retrospect, I wouldn't buy it either, since there are better books to be had on the subject. A much better book is: "Your Hands Can Heal You", by Stephen Co. & Eric Robbins.

The Healing Energy of Your Hands
I am a Reiki Master and as such am always looking for books about healing and energy. This book has been a real treat for me. I found Michael Bradford to be an excellent author who is able to speak to each person through his words. This book is written in a down to earth manner that anyone can understand. I am using some of his techniques for healing already. I am so glad I found this book. :-)
